Every pipeline exists to help someone decide faster. If it doesn't connect to a business outcome, it shouldn't exist.

Production systems on Azure, GCP, and AWS. I pick platforms based on the problem — Synapse for BI, BigQuery for aggregation, EKS for orchestration.
